Cleaning out your closets and wardrobe can be an emotional experience because they can represent a person we once were, or who we want to be. I worked with a client whose closet was full of clothes that no longer served them, and they hired me to help sift through, and decide what they wanted to keep and what no longer made sense. I offered a neutral and supportive environment where they could assess and make decisions! Plus, it felt wonderful & environmentally friendly to donate the garments to those who could benefit. |
One of the most overwhelming and frustrating storage tasks to tackle is paper. It takes up space, can be dusty, difficult to store, and it's laborious to sift through, read through, and decide what is necessary to keep. I've assisted clients who had filing system that didn't have consistency in categories, no distinction from business and personal, and folders that are sloppy, torn, and old. I've created simple systems for my clients they can understand and remember, which alleviates stress and time searching endlessly. |
